ABOUT OFFWELL ENVIRONMENT LINK

OELink is a membership organisation. It was established in 1989 and became a Registered Charity in 2000. It has no paid staff and is run entirely by volunteers.

Objects

1. To advance the education of the public in biology, ecology, the environment, conservation and the countryside and its heritage.

2. To support the charitable work of the Offwell Woodland Education Centre (operated by the Offwell Woodland & Wildlife Trust).

In Practice

We organise guided tours, forays, field days, biological surveys and practical educational and research projects, all led by experts.

We organise talks and lectures on a wide range of environmental topics.

We publish an informative quarterly Newsletter featuring environmental subjects and OELink and Offwell Woodland Education Centre activities and news.

We co-operate with other organisations to raise
awareness of environmental issues.

We assist and promote the Offwell Woodland Education Centre in numerous practical ways.

We raise funds for the Offwell Woodland Education Centre and for our own activities.
