Autumn
Walk. Take a guided walk around the Woodland Education Centre to enjoy
the autumn colours with Community Officer Lucy Morton. 10am - 1 pm. Meet in the Village Hall car park. Wellies recommended as the site can be
very muddy. There are some slopes and uneven paths. Dogs on leads welcome. |

Twelfth
Annual Lecture in Offwell Village
Hall. Lecture to be given
by the world‑renowned scientist Professor Sir Ghillean Prance on “The Biological
Evidences for Climate Change”. The
lecture will be given in Offwell Village Hall starting at 7.30pm. It would be advisable to telephone the
Secretary (01404-831375) if you wish to attend, to ascertain that there is
sufficient room. |

Pull,
Pull, Pull. An event for all the
family! Come and keep warm by pulling rhododendron saplings and helping us to
control this non‑native shrub at the Woodland Education Centre. 10am ‑
1 pm Bring wellies or stout boots, gloves, snacks and lots of energy! Meet in
the Village Hall car park. |

Ecology of the Exe Estuary & the Jurassic Coast. OELink member, Rod Lawrence will give
this lecture at Offwell Village Hall at 7:30pm. Admission free, donations
welcome. |
Please note that the £2 charge that now applies to non-members attending our field events will not be levied on the members of any organisation that is a corporate member of OELink.
Everyone
attending events at the Woodland Education Centre must wear appropriate
clothing and footwear
For many events, it would be useful to bring a field guide and hand lens if you
have them.
